We hope you are all excited for our production of Disney's Alice in Wonderland JR.! I am so thrilled to be spending another year directing these wonderful kids and working with this incredible community.

Auditions begin Tuesday, September 29th! Please see the sign up link for more details on how to best help your student prepare for success. Don't worry, auditions are for casting only – everyone is accepted into the program!

Open House :
September 8
Officially launched by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015, this competition challenges students to create an application for desktop/PC, web, tablet, mobile, Raspberry Pi or other devices. Students may use any programming language, such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or "block code." The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District. The challenge is open to individuals as well as teams of up to four members. The submission period runs from May 1st through October 26th, 2026. To find out more and to register for the challenge please visit the Congressional App Challenge Website.
Each year, the winner for Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District is chosen by expert judges and the submission is featured on the CAC Winners page. The winning app is also eligible to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol and the app creators will be honored with other winners from across the country. The winning individual or team will be invited to D.C. by the Congressional App Challenge organization for an event called House of Code where they can connect with other winners and present their winning app.
I look forward to seeing as many students as possible submit their app in this year’s challenge.
